Publikace Czech Theatre Review přináší anglický výběr teatrologických studií z časopisu Divadelní revue z let 1989–2009. Deset textů se věnuje historickým a teoretickým tématům z prostředí české divadelní kultury – od jezuitských a loutkových her po režii a teorii devadesátých let minulého století. Český teatrologický časopis Divadelní revue vznikl na sklonku roku 1989 na půdě Kabinetu pro studium českého divadla, kde působí dodnes jako součást Institutu umění – Divadelního ústavu v Praze. V současnosti vychází v češtině třikrát ročně jako plně recenzované periodikum a přináší tématické bloky historických i teoretických studií, analýzy, eseje, recenze, rozhovory a dokumenty z oblasti české i světové divadelní kultury.
