The selection of essays on theatre by the famous Russian avant-garde director Vsevolod Mejerchold includes…
The first volume of Tom Stoppard’s plays was published by the Theatre Institute in 2002 as a selection of works by this world-famous playwright of Czech origin. In the new millennium, Stoppard is increasingly being hailed as the world’s greatest living playwright. Our intention is to publish in three volumes the complete dramatic works of Stoppard, which can now be considered more or less complete.
The second volume will contain the titles: After Magritte, Jumpers, Every Good Boy Deserves a Reward, Night and Day, The Artist Descending the Staircase, Night and Day, Double Agent, Enter a Free Man, Dirty Linen and New-Found-Land (we are awaiting final translations of the titles). The committee is accompanied by a study by Barbara Day and a list of Czech productions of the author’s plays.
